My next promotional effort went into cover art of all kinds, and I did several Adventure Thiller sample covers, which I also sent off to
numerous book publishers...with predictable results. But all the sample work I had done trying to find work in the publishing business had kind of given me a
taste for books, which then lead me to collaborate with an a local author on The Golden Bird - an illustrated re-telling of the Grimm fable. When complete,
we did actually find an agent who tried for a year or so to find a publisher...without success. But that experience of visualizing a design from nothing would
assist me greatly in the not-too-distant-future...
